Port Townsend AAUW members nurture friendships and enjoy sharing recreational activities in Interest Groups. The branch has a large number of Interest Groups, including 10 Book Groups. New groups are formed each year. Interest Groups are open to all members, although some may be full.

• Book Groups (General) - 3 daytime Book Groups and 2 evening Book Groups

• Book Groups (Specialized) - 5 specialized book groups (History, Science, Classics, and 2 Mystery Book Groups)
