What We Offer
AAUW Port Townsend reviews requests for grants from our East Jefferson County Community. These grants are related to our mission but are not designated for on-going operational funding sources.

$12,600 - East Jefferson Fire & Rescue: support for Women Firefighters Training
$2000 - Emergency Help NOW - small grants for food, gas, etc.
$3000 - OWL 360: critical support for vulnerable youth
$23,310 - Chimacum Pre-K, full year pre-school support
$3000 - Port Townsend Elementary mid-winter break support
$1000 - Port Townsend High School Food Pantry
$1500 - Chimacum Elementary playground equipment

$1,000 - Care Provider Appreciation. Local licensed In-Home day care providers were honored for the work they do supporting working mothers, and mothers continuing their education

$1,000 - The Nest/Owl 360: support services for vulnerable youth
STEM Grants in 2025-2026 supported STEM Field Trips and Robotics
the Process
Apply
Applications are usually open January through February. Click Apply to download the application.
Plan to Share
New projects may require in person attendance at the March Board meeting to share details.
Notification
You will be notified by June whether your grant has been approved for funding. Funding begins in September.
Process
Recipients must pay in advance for the grant-approved expenses and submit invoices to AAUW/UWF for reimbursement.
