Program: League of Woman Voters of Jefferson County

Speaker: Angela Gyurko

Come learn from Angela Gyurko with the League of Women Voters about the state of voting rights. She will share the latest commentary from the national League on a case to be heard in October 2025 that could gut the Voting Rights Act at the national level, creating the basis for undoing state-level voting rights laws. Additionally, Angela will share what the Washington League is doing to address “reforms” at the USPS that could mean mail-in ballots are not postmarked in a timely manner.

Program: Behavioral Health Services in Port Townsend

Come learn from Dr. Mel Rose, Dr. Peter Geerloffs and Kelli Parcher about  available Behavioral Health Services for children.

Jumping Mouse Children’s Center brings healing and hope to young children facing trauma through the power of play. In this talk, Executive Director Dr. Mel Rose will introduce Child-Centered Play Therapy, the heart of Jumping Mouse’s work with children ages 3–12. Board Treasurer Dr. Peter Geerlofs will share why this therapy is so critical—especially for children carrying multiple Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), which can impact health and well-being for a lifetime if left unaddressed.

Owl 360

Supportive Services at OWL360 believe in removing barriers so young people can access resources. Our staff and peer allies are trained to listen deeply and walk alongside you to access the resources needed, whatever that may be.
