Nationally, women earn an average of 16% less than men.
For every dollar earned by men, women earn $0.84.
Women working in and around the Seattle area have an even greater disparity.
According to the Seattle Times, men earn $25,000 more than their women counterparts.
Seattle area women earn 78¢ for every dollar paid to men—a decline from 80¢ to the dollar a decade ago.

Individual Member: A person, who holds an associate degree (e.g. RN), bachelor’s degree, or higher degree, or individuals without a formal degree who have equivalent work, volunteer or life experience.
If you are passionate about supporting women and girls achieve equity, we welcome you to our AAUW PT Branch.

If you have not, click “Forgot Your Password” located below the blue login button at the bottom of the page. Enter your email address that we used to send you this message, then click Reset Your Password to receive a login email from infosf@aauw.org.
If you don't receive it in 5-10 minutes, email connect@aauw.org.

After you receive the login email, enter your email address and “Create and Confirm your Password” to access your Personal Snapshot.
Once you are in your Personal Snapshot, click “RENEW” at the bottom of the screen to renew your national, branch and state memberships!
Annual Dues
The total for 2025 is $105.00 ($72 goes to National dues, $10 goes to State dues, and $23 goes to the Port Townsend Branch).
Membership Renewals
Dues are collected by the AAUW National organization based on when your membership was recorded. If you joined AAUW in 2022, or later, your renewal dues are payable according to the month you joined AAUW. Members who joined prior to 2022 pay their dues by June 30th each year.

Volunteering
AAUW PT is an all-volunteer organization that relies on our members as the backbone for our continued success. Your support can come from paying your annual dues or signing up to volunteer at a fund raiser, sign up for a committee, or volunteer behind the scenes. All these efforts contribute to the success of our local branch.
If you are unable to volunteer, please consider making a donation, and lend your support to, those volunteers who are able to contribute their time.
Interest Groups
Besides volunteering to support our mission, we host interest groups and social activities for our members to connect, learn and engage with each other. Whether you like to hike, read, or play Mah Jong, we have interest groups for all members to enjoy.
